I love to mess about and very rarely take life too seriously.
Trance is one of the only languages I understand. In my opinion
the best way to understand it, is to wear a onesie while listening to it. (FYI – a “onesie” is like a baby grow for adults.

I’m incredibly impatient and can’t stand having to redo things.
I’m always willing to learn new things and have an absolute
passion for marketing. My nickname is Marmite, Merrick Marmite Rowe, which is beyond
me – I don’t even like the stuff.

Helped myself to a full English breakfast when there were no guests in the restaurant!

If no one ever earned money for working, what would your dream occupation be?
I want to be an actor. I once acted in a local musical production at the PlayHouse in Somerset West and it was one of the best times of my life!
Name 3 trusty lunchbox items that you always enjoy at your desk.
Firstly: 2-minute noodles, can’t leave home without them! Secondly: Energy Clusters, best cereal for anytime of the day. Thirdly: Any version of homemade soup that my mom has made for me.
If aliens landed in front of you and, in exchange for anything you desire, offered you any working position on their planet, what would you want?
Supreme leader of course!
How would you explain a database in three sentences to your eight-year-old nephew?
I wouldn’t, just in case I was telling them the wrong thing 😛
If you could trade places with any other person for a week, famous or not, living or deceased, fictional or real – with whom would it be?
Probably a superhero of some kind. Would be cool to save lives and wear flashy outfits at the same time.
Why did you apply to work at Snowball?
I’ve always wanted a career in Marketing, however I never had the experience needed to get any Marketing positions, until Snowball 🙂 They took me on as an Apprentice and taught me all I know today.
If you had only six months left to live, what would you do with the time?
Travel for sure. If that wasn’t on the cards, I’d party all the way ’till the end 😉
Tell us about the best day of your life.
I would have to say the day i found out i was accepted into Elizabeth Galloway Academy of Fashion Design. At the time it was my chosen profession and finding out that I was one step closer to my dream, was the best thing in the world to me.
What is your ultimate pet peeve?
Chewing with your mouth open – nobody needs to hear that!

Tell us your typical routine on regular day at Snowball.
I recently took on Sales responsibilities and it has become quite an adjustment. Most days I do a lot of blogging, and that has now been paired with organizing wireless site surveys and installations, I’m enjoying it – a lot of fun 🙂
What do you enjoy most about your job?
The fact that we are in a digital era, so Social Media has become a big part of any Marketer’s day-to-day routine.
How many cookies have you ever eaten in one sitting? Tell us what type they were.
That would be tennis biscuits, I can easily go through an entire pack!
Where do you like to go out in Somerset West?
I don’t, the nightlife is a bit of a ghost town. Haha! But, most nights I go to the reservoir on top of Irene Avenue and look out over Strand and Gordons Bay. It’s really beautiful on a clear night.
Give us an example of the one time where you did the right thing.
I once saw an old lady struggling with her bags, so I offered to help carry them to the car.
